glib-networking software package provides network-related giomodules for GLib, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glib-networking
glib-networking is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glib-networking package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glib-networking *
You will get with glib-networking package name, version, architecture and description in a table
